Joe Gafford made this image at Fox Park, WY, July 31, 2008, UT. 18" f4.5 JMI NGT-18 Newtonian telescope with SBIG ST-2000XM CCD camera. Two frame mosaic, each with three, 5 minute exposures each of LRGB. Processed in Maxim DL using the FITS IEEE floating point math on the addition of each of the LRGB channels. The finished Luminance channel and raw color image was processed in Photoshop.
